Find your stolen or missing laptops

Now you can find out your stolen or missing laptops
or desktops via ADEONA. This technology is discovered in washington. This software has a size of less than 3 mb and can genuinely find your lost or missing laptops and desktops for free.
Adeona is the first Open Source system for tracking the location of your lost or stolen laptop that does not rely on a proprietary, central service. Adeona is available for Windows and MAC platform.
You just have to download the software from their official website or from the links given below, install it. As soon as the machine is connected to the internet
the software uploads the ip address of the particular machine into its system.

When the stolen computer goes online, it send a message with its own IP address on to the web and you can retrieve this information from any other computer by running the Adeona Recovery tool shown here.

In MAC the users can also have the picture of the person using the laptop via its built in camera.
In some cases adeona will not work if the user disables the software before connecting to the internet. Adeona is designed to use the Open Source OpenDHT distributed storage service to store location updates sent by a small software client installed on an owner’s laptop. The client continually monitors the current location of the laptop, gathering information (such as IP addresses and local network topology) that can be used to identify its current location. The client then uses strong cryptographic mechanisms to not only encrypt the location data, but also ensure that the ciphertexts stored within OpenDHT are anonymous and unlinkable. At the same time, it is easy for an owner to retrieve location information.
